I can't stand Wal*Mart, nor most of the people who shop there. This is where I parked, it happened to be 16F outside, and I was wearing sandals, a polo, and no jacket. I only went to Wal*Mart because I was meeting a friend there. All of the way at the end of the lot, up slope from the "cart zone" (barely, that lot is quite flat).
Just look at "peopleofwalmart"! 550lb+ people open their doors FAR! I didn't care. I thought I was safe here!  :

i park there all the time,
i either park WAYYYYY down at the end of the lot, OR i park in the first space closest to the store , where there are yelllow stripes on the store side, and i put half the car into the stripes so even if someone flings open their door all the way it will still miss my car. i would rather park at walmart than at dennys though......anyday!

Just yesterday I was at a shopping mall. I parked far away from the other cars. As I walked to towards the store, I heard a Dad fussing at his kid. The kid had slammed the door into another car. The Mom was fussing at the dad for fussing at the kid. The Dad gave a big speech to the mom and kid about respecting other peoples stuff and responsibility. The whole bunch of them inspected the dent on other guys car and then proceeded to walk to the store. Did they try to make amends for the damage? Nope. So much for responsibility.

The laziness and rudeness of your typical Wal-Mart shoppers is horrifying. I think you got the best spot on the lot.
note to fellow C5'ers: When you park in THAT spot, leave the curteosy spot available.. you never know when another Camaro will be visiting that accursed store and want to keep your baby company !! |

I dunno, making fun of WalMart shoppers is like making fun of poor people. You can do it, but it just seems... wrong.

I go to wal-mart all the time in my Camaro (when the weather isn't so inclimate) and i just park wherever theres an open space.....never get door dings or anything
