Hi long time Camaro admirer and lurker here. Finally had something good to post about so I signed up to post.
macalot posted this idea up in another thread - he brought up idea that the Camaro z28 hood could potentially resemble (not exactly but similar design as) the hood from the CTS-V scca race car, but maybe with less slats. I was at the detroit show and took some pix of the cts-v, what you guys think? Posted the rest of the cts-v car at http://www.atsforums.com/forums/show...troit-Autoshow compared to |

Definitely looks like that's the direction they're taking it. Good call!

I think that may be a little exaggerated, but hope it's at least somewhat close.
GOOD CATCH!

Great spot !! It definitely looks like the direction that GM is going to go with the supercharged engine, using the heat extractor hood. The Z28 will likely be a variant on the Caddy Race Car Hood.
Can you tell what size tires the race car is running???

one wheelin

looks like it, also on a side note could the wheels on the cts-v scca car be the wheels that were on the ss-x and might be the wheels that are going to be on the z28?
