whatchya think

I wasnt looking for a camaro when i went to the dealership . So i really didnt do any research as to what was in the different trim packages in detail.

I just knew there was 2 engines a 6 and a 8. So I asked the salesman whats the differance in the cars ( ls / lt / rs package which i now know) and what not , well this has the control knobs on the steering wheel and this other (ls) dont theres not a big differance they have the same engine blah blah blah.

So as i looked i couldent really tell a signifigant differance, i was beat from looking at other cars all day and the only color i liked that they had there on the lot was the white so i said, give me that one cause i wanted to drive something away im bad about waiting . after looking into the forums i see all the little differances but i figured i could add what i needed to this one the white one i liked.

At the time of purchase i told the sales guy i wanted fog lights and a spoiler so he said no prob we can do that just bring it back and we will have it professionally installed ( sounded reasonable to me). After all was said and done i took it back to get the custom install at a custom auto shop (3rd party the dealer uses.)

I didnt get the spoiler yet cause they have to remove the rally stripes, install the spoiler than reinstall new stripes on trunk and spoiler; but they installed the fog lights.well i picked it up, there very bright led lights but i noticed they are smaller than the original intented port ( i believe the used a fog light type kit , there cust are clean and install is flawless but the stock port as you can see is bigger, should i make a fuss and see if i can have them redo it or live with it.

At night its not too visible on or off but in day you can notice if your looking. and dont say the you shoulda got the fogs factory i explained the story. opinions guys???

I would order the factory fog lights and have them installed, but its completely up to you. If you like it, then you should keep it.

Well, you should get what you paid for, it doesn't look bad, but I prefer the stock fog lights.

I think they look pretty good. I would keep them like that, but I would hide the switch better. The position of the switch looks like a cheap afterthought.

But yeah, I think the fog lights look fine the way they are and are probably alot brighter then the factory fog lights.

I think it looks fine. You should get the bezel around the fog lights painted in your car color. That will make it not noticeable.

It's do-able, do a search, I think a few people on here have done it.

I like them, but i don't like the cheap switch they added to your dash trim...what a cheap way to shortcut the install...

Thanks guys . I think painting the bezel around the light would make it better, which ive considered.

and the switch yeah kinda cheesy they said they were gonna have a custom button on the dash, but he said there after i didnt want to drill into your car, probably just lazy.

I personaly like the quality of the lights but the size is messin me up. looks like a skinny guy with a big head lol. Or like a girl with nice a$$ but no tatas , nice but just not quite right.

Im gonna call and see if they wanna do the job right for me but keep it led.

I appreciate the opinions, i feel when someone says they look ok or good that there just bs'n to be nice, because i measure that against my own thoughts, but maybe im a freak and am over anylizing,

I just want clean professional work seems like everyone trys to skimp or do half a$$ work these days in every industry. I guess if you want it done right you gotta do it yourself.

Personally, I think they look fine as they are installed. PIAA is a good brand for lighting equipment; better than the standard low-wattage halogen setup that the cars come with.

Those don't look like LED lights though. I could be wrong; I think the bulbs just have a whiteish/blue tint to them, is all.

I don't like the way it looks. I think painting them would make it perfect. They do look bad ass at night though. Don't take em off. Just paint the bezel.
