The pictures youve been waiting for. My upgrades

here are some quick pics
the first pic is of the newly painted to match rear diffuser and bowtie "bowtie is silver to match stripes" also shows the rear view with the flaps on. Not so crazy about the flaps, but im sure they will grow on me when I am not seeing rock chips....

the second pic is of the same just different angle

third pic is side view showing the new flaps

fourth and fifth pic showing the new Hurst shifter with Hurst knob and boot

the sixth pic is the SS emblem I added to the dash. I have a Chevrolet script to also add later. too cold to put it on yet

the seventh pic is of the new heritage grille... love it, but need my emblems :(

the eighth pic is the SS emblem these cars should of had factory in my opinion

the ninth pic is of my custom made emblem pro's underhood bowtie. This pic does not do it justice. They are an awesome piece! if you can see the logo it has the script from a 1955 chevrolet on the top. All my custom peices from emblempro's has this script. they can be seen in my albums

The tenth pic is of my Roto-Fab CAI. The quality and workmanship of this thing are incredible. I love it. ass in seat feel is also incredible. Love it!

I can't say I have been "waiting" to see them but the car looks sweet.

I can say I can't believe you have a front plate DRILLED into your car to display a college logo and yet another SS logo???

How's that 22% throw hurst? worth the money and you had to go through to get it? I love my 44% one... feels like it should. I guess I need to drive a 22% to see if its really any different.

Anyhow... I like how you did the dark red under the hood... I have silver and have considered doing red under the hood as a lot of the accents on my car are red... calipers, brake lines, BMR stuff, SS badges... etc.

Looks good!!! and you will appriciate the "mud flaps"

Oh and BTW... I just noticed its CGM with silver stripes and grey interior. I saw one of those at the dealer long ago... BY FAR the best combo with the CGM. HANDS DOWN. Pics dont do it justice, its AMAZING in person. The colors flow so well. Great choice!

JR tisk tisk.... there you go assuming again The front plate is not for the UT see its there for 2 things actually. My name is Tony and I am a BIG guy and some call me big T for that, but mostly because Tennessee is my home away from home and it brings me happiness. I think of mountains every time I see my plates, So yes I chose to put that plate bracket on the front. Did you not see the flames on it? All my cars have a Tennessee plate of some sort on the front. It doesent bother me. I dont mind the plate on the front at all. And whats wrong with another SS emblem? I paid for the SS, I want to see its an SS

As for the shifter. wasnt to much of a headache after I got in touch with Grabiak. they did some awesome work finding me one and getting the price in line. Spent about the same amount of money as I would if I went aftermarket and then added the Hurst knob. maybe $100 more. worth it to me. As for the feel, I love it! perfect for my tastes. The 44% no doubt is nice, just not enough movement for me. either way Hurst makes a nice shifter def a difference between the 2. just depends on your tastes. Im used to the old hurst shifters and the 22% reduction is more in line with that.....

Under the hood is the red jewel tint coat. Also has a reason. I originally wanted a RJT car. couldnt get one with the options I wanted so started looking into other colors. Truth be told, once I saw the CGM I didnt want the red anymore. So I paid some homage to my first color thought. Did the engine cover and then the roto-fab in red jewel and the fuse cover. It really brightens under the hood. With the silver cover and the grey paint it was just to "bland" for lack of a better word. Dressed it up softly and nicely. I think you would do well with a red theme also. It would mesh well with the other red on the car.... def worth it.

as for the flaps. I am ok with the look from the side. its just the rear look I have to get used to. I dont hate it, just different. the painted diffuser helps blend them so I should be fine.
still better than missing paint on the quarters.
thanks though, even if you dont like my flamed T plate its ok, and really you could admit you were waiting for the pics. dont be a hater

I actually went with the 2010 for the 2 toned seats in silver. the 11's at the time had only single color seats. It really does look great, even the grey carpet makes it stand out.
very pleased with this combo. def looks good with the CGM

well secretly inside I was waiting... but don't tell anyone!!!

and there I go... assuming again... LOL.

You really do have an awesome looking car... A little more on the one at the dealer. CGM was one of the colors we considered but it was on constraint in the beginning and when we saw SIM, we went with it... and love it. Anyhow, I was at the dealer one day for who knows why, I already had my car but i noticed a CGM with silver stripes and grey leather sitting there. I walked in and asked my salesman... Tony (small world) who ordered that car. He said that the manager told him to order a CGM lot car and to pick what he thought would look best. He chose that... I told him that he could not have picked a better combo for the CGM!!

it meshes really well with the color. I always liked a light interior. just looks good. not that the darker ones dont. just my preference. that was my color choice for the RJT if I would of went with that too.
my formula and firebird both had the light grey so keeping it old skool

once you paint it youll swear it came that way factory. just looks right.
I didnt paint the checker part at the top, left that the black plastic, but painted the rest, thrilled with how it came out!
