Double Deuce: The first time I dread that 'special' day.
Yep, today I hit 22, and for some reason, for the first time, I actually didn't want to acknowledge it. First thing I thought when I realized what day it was: "Wait, I'm 22 today? Oh hell.. Good bye good life, hello..the rest of it. Nice, God. Nice."

Hello!
|
My life only got better after 22...I suspect yours will as well.
Remember, you make life what you want...it doesn't make you! Sometimes it's harder than other times but you can only play with the hand you have! |

Punk!
JK It's all about ebs and flows. There are different thinks to take pride in at different times. And different things make you happy. When I was 22 I thought about some of the things that made someone who was 40 happy and dreaded 40. Now all of a sudden I'm 38 and I am actually happy about those things. You'll grow with yourself wether you like it or not. Just don't ever grow too fast. It's like a song you hear and you really like it. You listen to it and enjoy it. Then you reallize I'm starting to get used to it. So maybe you listen a little less so you can preserve the length of the enjoyment. Then you reallize, I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. Inevetably, it will get old to you. And such are the things that are important to you now. They will pass and you'll move on and be content to do so. OK, who am I kidding, I miss the young free days of 22. No real responsibilities and alot of partying. |

People also say that I sometimes* think/act like I'm 3 times older than I am..
I read books on WWII and the Titanic when I was 5 for christs sake.. -_- I'm a freak..that also will be driving a Camaro before I'm 25. *Results may vary.. |

Enjoy, brother. Enjoy.
I take it you aren't married. The family thing was what held me back from my dream car at that age. No regrets though. I just am getting my ride about 15 to 20 years later. |

I'm 24 now, and have no clue where 22 went. Let alone 23!
