I had AR headers installed with hi-flow cats and X-pipe. Im gettin a rattling noise around center near tranny when I hit bumps and sometimes droning vibration. My installeer suggest welding. any other suggestions. anybody?

Sound like the exhaust is laying on the tunnel brace and likely bouncing when hitting a bump ??? As far as droning, You have the A6 trans, L99 engine ??? If so, tune out the AFM ..

Check your tunnel brace clearance. With my new 3" setup, the pipes barely cleared it and the two would rattle against each other when I hit bumps. I had 3 washers added to each bolt to give 1/4" more clearance--no more rattles now.
