Not sure where you live, but apparently Texas is Camaro country as I can't drive to work without seeing several Camaros. There are a lot of Mustangs and even Challengers as well, so I guess it is simply good to have a pony car in Texas.

Waiting... nevermind...

More great news. I always like to see more and more sales and am grateful CAMARO has been accepted so widely by the masses. I guess a lot of those reviewers and commentators who complained about so many of the things they think are wrong aren't as significant to the buyer as they sometimes claim.

GO TEAM CAMARO AND KEEP THE IMPROVEMENTS AND MODELS COMING!!!

AND - thank you for continuing the GREAT graphs.

I understand the production figures drop in July as it was the end of the 2011 model, but I'm surprised to see so many 2012's produced here in August. Do they expect to moving a lot of Camaros in the fall?

I'm buying a Camaro soon and trying to predict the time of year where I will get the best deal.

you get the best deals typically on the previous model year. But if you want to get a good deal on the current model year, just buy one in the heart of winter if you live in Canada. Each day a car sits on the lot at a dealer they have associated costs and dealers will make some nice deals just to get them off the lot if they're not selling. And I'm sure not many Camaros sell during the winter months up north.

Based on those charts, buying a Camaro would be best around November/December. Might get a good price from the dealers?

Are these 20011 Camaros, 2012 camaros or a mixture of both?

I saw about 5 Camaros yesterday, about 3 or 4 Challengers and about 5 mustangs on the road yesterday. Starting to really like the look of the Challenger going down the road.

Back in there heyday Camaro aand mustangs were selling 17 or 18k cars in a months times. Well over 200k cars a year with mustang slightly in the lead.

Yes.

Up here in the snow belt, 90% of these types cars are weekend toys only so you don't see them very often. Hard for a lot of folks to have 40 grand tied up in a toy.

I wouldn't say that. There are a lot of seasonal cars, where it gets driven daily for 8 or 9 months, then parked for the winter.
