Exclamation ***NEW OFFICIAL 2012 CHEVROLET CAMARO ZL1 WEBSITE AND PICTURES (Convertible ZL1 too)

The ZL1 hasnt had its own real section on the Chevrolet website like the SS, V6, or Vert, and now it does!!!

FYI All footnotes say its in victory red, I know a lot of people thought the concept was Crystal Red Tintcoat.

What happened to the dual tipped exhaust outlets???? The pictures looks more like an SS with an aluminum differential and larger mufflers. Looks like they just photoshopped the red engine cover and S/C to an SS drivetrain. It also looks like they got rid of the really cool ZL1 logo on the top of the manual shifter as well. Too bad, I really liked that.

Check again, found more pictures, showing the real exhaust!

Awesome pics. The 650hp boss let some air out of the tires, but I am still really excited about this vehicle.

I had the same sort of feeling, but itll be a back and forth, and with the new pictures, it reminds me of how freaking bad ass this car looks.

Someone else put it right, chevy put money into handling and HP, ford only put money into extra HP. But either way im still excited about the ZL1

Thanks, I think it is just the drive train picture that is not correct, possibly an SS drive train picture that they had available. I still wish that they had kept the ZL1 logo on the top of the shifter knob.

They need to put the ZL1 logo back on the shift knob - that was a great feature which I loved.

I'll be seriously disappointed if its not there on the production vehicle

I do like how the black 20" rim pic has "camaro" machined into it, never noticed that if it was on previous pictures/versions

If I'm paying an extra $500 for less than a square yard of sueded micro fiber....it had better come with the gd ZL1 logo on the shifter.

I agree, the first time I saw what the suede "package" included I did a double take cause of the price!

I dont see why the would have taken it off, im sure there will be aftermarket ones, and a couple custom guys on the forum can do it, but GM really should keep it on there

Great link, what an incredible car the ZL1 is!! Eager for GM to get the "build your own" feature loaded for the ZL1.

Yeah, they tricked me with the line at the bottom that says "start building your camaro zl-1" , and just sends u to a list of options.
