To grease or not to grease?

I have a popping noise in my front end after the installation of Pfadt lowering springs.
I have read that the endlinks are a likely culprit. I am going to re check all the connections but should I use some heavy duty grease on them when I re tighten them?

Do not grease the endlinks on the threads. The factory endlinks are a sealed system and should not need relubrication. The first place we would look though is at the condition of the endlinks. If you're using our endlinks check and make sure they are assembled correctly according to our illustrations here: Pfadt Endlink Installation Guide

If you're still using the factory endlinks make sure that the endlink it's self isn't bent in any way, and the hardware is in good condition. Also pay close attention to when the car is actually making noise and under what condition you hear any sounds as that will help narrow down future troubleshooting steps.

Shoot me an email to info@pfadtracing.com,send us a PM, or call us at 1-888-972-2464 with some more details of your noise and we can work with you on troubleshooting the issue!

Grease just attracts dirt and road grime. Make sure the springs are "Clocked" properly. If they are not they spring can rub on the bottom spring perch causing a noise.

I had a popping noise coming from the front of my car when i would turn and go over a shallow dip or into a driveway. But i bought the LSR front subframe brace and the noise stopped. It was only 60 bucks, worth it to me just for the noise and if it stiffens up the chasis that is just gravy.

Are there any ill effects by just doing the front sub frame brace?
I was told not to upgrade just the front sway because it would throw off the rear.

That's definitely the case. With the very small sway bar that comes with the Camaro from the factory any increase in front roll stiffness without a corresponding increase in the rear is going to make the car understeer even more than it already does.

Adding chassis bracing won't have a huge effect on the overall balance of the car, so if you wanted to add some kind of brace that wouldn't hurt anything.
