performance difference in scoop?
Is there a noticeable performance difference in using the adm scoop with CAI and not using the scoop?

Yes there is a difference you can feel. I am glad I added the washer bottle relocate and air scoop. It was well worth it.

If you're looking for performance you want to do everything you can to get cool air to the filter, and it makes sense that the scoop and washer bottle relocate would help.

Had mine done at Jannetty Racing and It made a significant difference.
