Help With Axle Back Exaust

I'm considering a new axle-back exaust for my L99 and would really appreciate some opinions on which one to buy. The sound bites are helpful but don't seem to help much. My budget will allow only an axle-back for now, so the cat-backs, etc are out of my league. With that in mind, any recommendations? TIA

I like my Pypes "Pype-Bomb" axle back. Probably the cheapest around. Fitment issues are a pain, and I ended up having 'em welded since they wouldnt stay put. A little drone around 2,000 - 2,300 rpm, but you're going to get that with any of 'em without J-pipes...

I have the Solo axle back with j-pipes too. Great sound, no drone, and very little AFM noise.

You should check out SLP's Loudmouth exhaust. Seems to be our most popular seller so far:

Installed Flowmaster axelback myself and I'm 66. Took about 2 hours. Good fit.
Loud enough to set off car alarms in the garage where I work, but not obnoxious.
Good set of ramps, basic tools, impact wrench and a recip saw. Oh, and WD-40 for the rubber hangers.

Those do sound good. And at the time of the video, the Flowmasters were the only exhaust mods you had made so far?

I just did Flowmasters too, only diff was i did a cat back setup, and honestly if your considering most other brands of axle back they are almost as much as the cat back system by flowmaster.

2nd on the Pipes!!!! Cheap, easy to install, and sound good. But, may need to weld to keep in place.

Solo with "J" pipes ........ Do some searches on L99, AFM, and aftermarket exhaust. AFM can become very noticable and annoying with aftermarket exhaust. If you plan on tuning AFM off, you can broaden your search.
