Hey Gang!

Jerry asked me to post up for him about the April meet & greet.

Eufaula, AL
April 21, 2012
10:30 am

Stop #1 --
Meet at Piggly Wiggly at 10:30
1631 S. Eufaula Avenue
Eufaula, AL 36027
(S. Eufaula Avenue is U.S. Highway 431)

Part #2:
Cruise up to Lakepoint State Park resort area (104 Lakepoint Drive). There is an area where we can park and take photos with the lake in the background

Part #3:
Cruise back into Eufaula into the downtown area to have lunch at Legend’s Sports Café (207 Broad Street). We can park in the “main street” area (also a nice photo op). They have a large room that will be reserved for us and they serve pub-style food

Part #4:After lunch, we’ll cruise back to Billy Lawrence Chevrolet (3220 S Eufaula Avenue) to park and show off our cars. They will be expecting us around 1:00 to 1:30 and will have their center parking area cleared out for our cars. We can stay as long as we want to stay and leave when we need to.

I'll start working on the caravan in a week or so. I need to pull some maps & routes and figure out some logistics....but I'll get on it!

I'm in. Should meet at Hardees at exit 130. It's straight up thru Dothan to Eufaula.

Eufaula is about 50 minutes north of Dothan (Hwy 431 is 4 lane all the way....). Hwy 231 comes into the Dothan circle on the south side and Hwy 431 goes off the north side of the Dothan circle. I would recommend going around the Ross Clark Circle on the eastern side just because the traffic is usually much lighter on that side.
