Anybody receive one with grey stripe - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I still haven't seen one delivered with the exposed cf and grey stripe? Anybody? Won't be getting mine for a couple more weeks and would like to see detailed pics of grey stripe against exposed cf, preferably on white.

I don't believe that any of the cars with the exposed CF insert and grey stripes have shipped yet. Fbodfather posted the other day that they were still working on the stripe. I have an order with the exposed and the stripe and my dealer expects delivery to be April 27.

I agree that is the reason. If I could I would have mine sent as is. I am going to remove the stripe regardless because they only put it on the trunk lid with a sunroof. I just can't imagine it will make much design sense. If they end up using the 3M carbon fiber look stripe on my trunk lid and I like it then I might keep it on and buy the roof piece and have it installed.

Either way, I am being patient but would prefer to have the car. I would have just removed the stripe, eaten the $470 I spent on the stripe and been real close to Ultra-Grin with the other three ZL1s already in New Mexico on their way to LA.

Member Dave K has a CRT with exposed hood, I believe the thread is anyone with pics of a CRT.

thats the only one so far with a stripe, but thats the matte black, it just looks grayish in the picture

That combo was my second choice... I ended up going white... I have a feeling you're going to really like it...

Interesting how we haven't seen any shipped yet... possibly some slight changes..

Funny, white was my second choice. I liked what I saw on Chevrolets website when I changed the ZL1 to CRT. No stripe though. I wonder what the "issue" is with the stripe. Color? How they were applied?. Quality of material? Anybody know?

If there is a problem I'm assuming it is a color issue as it looked horrible at the auto show, not even close to matching the exposed cf insert. Can we PLEASE get an update. Up until today I thought my car had already shipped? Now it seems there is another issue.
