New Aluminum Paddle Shifters coming Soon
The Paddles are in Stock and ready for Shipment ! The Introductory price is $99 + $5.95 Shipping.
Order your set today ! Limited Quantities ! Hello everyone This idea came up after test driving a Maserati Gran Turismo that had nice designed Paddle Shifters and thought "Why not have something like this for my 2010 Camaro ?" I wanted them to be:
After so much time developing , redesigning, trying different shapes... The Paddles made the car more fun to drive, easier to reach the Paddles than those hidden buttons especially when making turns... The paddles fit perfectly the existing mechanism and require almost the same pressure to activate as existing buttons. With a simple flat screw driver, you pop-out the existing buttons and place the Paddles in it's place, it only takes 5 seconds. No need to dismantle anything or hard to reach screws.... The Paddles position allows you to hold the steering wheel without interfering with the Paddles when cruising or not needing to Down or Up-shift. They are at the same time very easy to reach when needed. All questions are welcome , we also need your opinion. We've already sold more than 300 sets ! Not one single unhappy customer ! Follow this thread for all the reviews and comments ! Order yours today! Ahmed Vitesse Motorsports Last edited by horizon670; 12-31-2012 at 01:31 PM. |

Looks good, definitely interested in a cheaper alternative to the Hurst paddle-shifters.

I asked this question earlier, but somehow it got deleted. Since the buttons pop off easily, what's to keep the aluminum paddles from popping off? I'd hate to be using them and have one come off into my lap.

I'm in at $90. Definitely the best design I've seen. Thanks for the PM
Oh, on the other thread you asked for opinions on the symbols. I like the "+" & "- " best. |

Yes, the previous thread got deleted because I had to sign up for a Sponsor account so now we can talk pricing.... That's why your previous answers got deleted. Sorry for that.
The feel of the Paddles is strong, they are Aluminum, no plastic or parts that can flex, that's why I like it. You also get a good feedback when the Paddle is activated. Because of the design, the Paddles are not traveling if I can say twice what the previous buttons used to so you get The aluminum is brushed and very pleasant to the touch. Yes, we are thinking to replace the + / - with UP / DOWN since they are already on the Steering , I am sure everyone here will have different opinion. Here is a video that will show how easy they install and also how they move when activated. |

Same concept, yes... but this a far more elegant solution. So simple I'm surprised Hurst didn't do something similar in the first place instead of the goofy big paddles with clearance issues on an overly flexy framework that in my case ended up running out of adjustment and had to be removed.

Yes the selling price will be around $90 for the pair
We are hoping to get a High volume of sales so that we can keep this low price. I cant comment on other Competitor's products, haven't tried them but all I can say is that I'm very happy with the Quality / Look and Feel of these Paddles, especially at this price. I'd be in for these, but I would love some more detail on how they are held on? Seems they could pop off just like the stock buttons???

They wont come off even if you tried to pull hard, you need a flat screw driver to push either of the hinges away from the plastic surrounding. I tried it myself . The hinges are in aluminum so they are even stronger than the original plastic ones on the existing buttons.
They are exactly 145mm (5.74 inches) Last edited by horizon670; 07-20-2012 at 03:16 PM. |
