Quick help needed

Installing my Pfadt lowering springs. I'm doing the front now. I have the strut off and I'm trying to remove the spring but the top nut seems to be just spinning. Do I need to keep the torque bit in there to remove the nut or does it come off by itself? Thx

Assuming yours is like mine, you need to hold the shaft with a Torx bit while you remove the nut.

All work out?

I meant to tell you you really don't need the spring compressors.

I hope I was helpful.

Grrrrr!!! I might be calling you in the morning. Rear spring doesn't want to compress low enough for me to put the bolt on. I'm praying I didn't switch the springs and put the rears on the fronts.

I'll be ready for the call.

Hate to say it but if the springs on the rear are too tall then I think you did. The short fat springs go on back.

Ok, your video shows the box from Pfadt. Are the two outer springs for the front or the rear?

Anyone install Pfadts newer drop springs? Rears seem to be taller than they used to be for install. If this is normal then good deal.

He's needing to use the spring compressors to get the nut started. Didn't used to have to do that.
