2013 Camaro SS Options Pricing
GM has released 2013 pricing for nav radio at $795 and NPP performance dual mode exhaust at $895. From what I can see the freight remains at $900 and the rest of the options for the most part remained at 2012 pricing. However, base price of the cars have yet TBD. Word has it that Siri will be added to Chevy My Link-the bad news is that the nav radio will not be released until after the first of the year--Bummer! No pricing yet on 1LE SS performance package.

The (RPO) UHQ navigation radio is constrained from the 1LT to the ZL1. You can still order a car with this option-it just won't get preferenced. It will probably stay at 1100--dealer acknowledgement. A WAG--supplier/vendor can't produce them fast enough as to insure uninterupted production. SIRI quite possibly being added might be worth the wait. Hopefully the dash installation will have a better fit & finish look than what I've seen on the ZL1 show cars. Let us hope they get it right!

Shooting Star,
Where is the Nav delayed info coming from? I'm wondering if a base Mylink can be field upgraded to Nav. I'm getting tired of my order just sitting there. |

Intensifi,
I share your frustration. I've been trying to get my hands on one of these verts for over a year. Waiting for GM to get it right. I can share this bit of information--2013 2SS Vert went up $255, not bad. As for the information on the hold it is supplied by my fleet manager, and I saw it with my own eyes. Every GM dealer has the same info. As for the Nav retro, there are 2 codes. One is a UFU and the other UHO. Not being a software engineer, going to say "No" without some mods. First of all the antenna is supplied by a company by the name of Laird and the connectors are supplied by Amphenol RF. The UHO has GPS. Pretty sure they are 2 different antennas. By contacting one of these suppliers, one could possibly find out if a retro would be as simple as downloading new software. My suspicion is they are waiting on SIRI to be engineered into the software. Without that could have possibly seen the radios a little sooner. The thing with that is getting close to model year 2014. I hope I'm wrong. It would be too simple for a software download. But they are 2 different faces and 2 different wiring harnesses. Hope this helps a little. |
