Wheel Problem on 2012 SS

I have the Midnight Sliver painted wheels on my 2012 SS
I need touch up paint for these wheels.
Does anyone have the paint code for the Midnight Silver paint?
Has anyone purchased touch up paint for this color? If so what vendor did you use?

You should be able to get the code from a dealer. I'd give them a call.

Don't buy the touch up paint from the dealer. I bought olympic white and it was noticeably darker.

I created my own with a little touch up bottle of Toyota light pewter and added a couple of drops of black. It matches pretty good, this was the closest I found at my local O'reilly's at the time (in early 2010).

First of all one has to wonder why you need touch up paint for the wheels on a 2012 already? Scrape the curb or something? Pics would be nice.

As far as the paint goes, go talk to the salesperson who sold you the vehicle. Talk nice and they will probably give you a bottle of touch up paint free, my salesman did.

I bought the Midnight Silver wa-263m from Painscratch.com. It is nowhere near close to a match. It is darker, and has abundant flake, which the wheels do not. Another $35 down the toilet.

The Chevy dealer's body shop can't get it, Paintscratch has the wrong stuff (or I have the wrong code), and I have no other leads. I am real close to painting all 4 to match and being done with it. I hate to because the original finish is so unique, but if it cannot be obtained.....

That's about 6 coats to cover the test card, with a coat of clear over. Nothing at all like my wheels.

I've been going round and round with this the past couple of weeks. The bottom line is that GM does NOT sell this paint, and the paint sold by Paintscratch.com as WA-263M Midnight Silver is NOT the correct color, it is not even close.

It is looking more and more like the best option is to change the wheel color since the original color is unobtainable.
