hey guys soo last week i found a wrecked 2012 camaro with 6 miles on it......the car fell off a rail carrier....anyways i bought the dash out of it and the spedo cluster. I like how they made the 2012 interior with the leather on the dash......I want to add this dash into my car with a HUD (supplied by ofer)
My car is sitting at the dealer it has a bcm issuse because i wired something there (leason learned DO NOT WIRE ANYTHING TO BCM3 DASH PANEL)......here are some pics of the 2012 dash

It's not that bad. Bunch of screws and such, but the dash literally just pops in and out of place after they're all out.

should have gotten the hud unit out of the donor as well

He did get it with the dash, only the harness is coming from me.

there is a small harness in there near the hud its about 4inch........i paid 250.00 enigne is totaled i think

well when i get my car back i will......dealer just called said there are 54 bad codes in the bcm.....and 4 in the ecm......all of them are lighting...not covered under warranty :( soo i dont even want to think about how much its going to cost me

ouch. maybe it's just a fuse that blew. When I blew my reverse solenoid fuse it tripped like 7 codes.

great upgrade and that 2012 camaro does look awesome hopefully you can make a sticky out of this and ill go back to it later to upgrade my 2010 das to the 2012

i checked all of the fuses they were fine......what happen was i had a switch powered to bcm3 for my strobes and it sparked...i replaced the fuse with a good one and still the car wasnt acting right. i just want my car back and the bill to be under 500 and then im taking all my lights off or wiring them to a place where it wont give me issues

That will not work, you dont have the rest of the wires built in to the main dash harness.

I dont know what the BCM3 is or how you wired the car..

DAVE welcome back!!!! well me and a friend that does strobes for living wired it........went to the dealer when they were closing and my fascia was on the concrete floor and has nice sctraches on it

Ill be there tommorow to bitch at them....and my interior is all apart I might not be moding for a long time after im done paying them off

I like to read but don't post much but I just got some papers in the mail that might help you I had my bcm replaced and out the door it was 263.15

i hope soo! went by today and the guy was like screaming at me because they said its soo ****ed up. they are going to call gm if they can not figure it out.

I've seen the BCMs on ebay for about $100 and the program is only $50. Install is about 5 minutes. You should be able to fix yours for under $200.

my faith in dealerships have gone down hill badly they are parts changers and car breakers.. i had my pdim unit changed and the dealer broke the inner structure of the arm rest and just stuck it back together because they didn't know how to take out the clips... i had a recent issue with a camaro where the computers were going crazy.. i had the ecm/bcm reflashed but i still had a srs light on.. ended up the srs ecu locked up i had to send it out to have some type of reprograming done and its perfect now.. i think you have a module issue more than anything else
