Rubbing noise coming from the rear axle
So I brought my car to the dealer for a rubbing noise I thought was coming from the front tires when turning the corner. After checking the front tires to make sure they were not rubbing on the fender wall. When the service manager heard this he immediately said it was coming from the rear axle. Apparently GM has a recall on the seals in the rear axle. I had no oil leaks of any kind just the noise. So now I'm waiting on new seals and bolts to come in to have this problem corrected. Service guy stated it would take 500-1000 miles until the seals set in. So if anyone heards a similar noise have it checked.

Well after getting the rearend serviced and after 1000 miles of driving the problem still exist. Not only did I still have the same problem but the noise was louder. So I brought it back to the dealer and spoke with the service manager. He stated that they did what was required according to GM and that he had two other camaros with the same problem. He stated that he was waiting only GM to instruct them on what to do next short of replacing the rearend. He said it would take 3-4 days before he would get a response and he would call me afterwards. Well I got the call yesterday, GM gave them the ok to replace the rearend. Apparently GM realizes there is a problem with the rearends. I'm glad it wasn't a battle trying to get my problem resolved.
