New Forgestar Wheel Release - Lighest Wheel they Produce - The CF5V Forgestar Wheel!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to give you a heads up on this new wheel from Forgestar, the CF5V, which is the lightest wheel they now produce. Please note, the pictures below are BEFORE powdercoat, so they're just pure wheel material, there's no finish on these:

Weight of wheel above, 19.8LBS is from a 19x8.5 CF5V wheel

Fitments available:
- 19x8.5
- 19x9.0
- 19x9.5
- 19x10
- 19x11
- 19x12

What do you guys think? More pictures to eventually follow once we get more!

If there's enough demand for 20"s I'm sure they'll make that size for you, but of course you'll need to show your support for the 20" sizing that you requested so they can see you guys wanting it! The more that you post about 20" sizing, the more you'll get the attention of Forgestar to make it

I would love to see an 18inch version for maximum weight reduction. I would jump all over that. 18x9.5

If this wheel sees popularity like the other wheels like the CF10, F14 and CF5, then I'm sure they'd be happy to accommodate customers with 18", 19", 20" and possibly more depending on the demand for them of course.

Got a full set made in Semi Gloss Black on a E92 M3! The CF5V have a 5 degree deeper concave profile compared to any other Forgestar wheel. Check them out!

So what do you guys think?

Nope, and no confirmation that they will even make those in 20"s to be honest. Not sure if that will happen.

Wow these look nice, but they're not lighter than F14's in 18"x8.5" are they? How are they priced comparatively? Please send me a PM.

Weights will be similar, so close that it wouldn't make or break me taking a set based on weight.

If popularity kicks in on these, then I'm sure we'll see them in 20's, but no confirmation for now. Hasn't stopped a good amount of you guys buying them in 19" regardless though. I have a few sets in production for Camaro's right now in fact.

Oh no, there's more than just black. There's gloss black, textured black, semi-gloss black, matte black, gunmetal, textured gunmetal, gold, white, Bronze, Textured bronze, Sunset Orange, Sapphire blue, electric green, hot pink, carbon fiber, Karbon(aka simulated carbon), dark graphite (what I have), hand brushed, and a few others that are escaping my mind right now.

I was really close to pulling the trigger on some 18x8.5 F14's in textured black but I'm really liking these wheels. I never got a PM from you about size/price compared to the F14's - please PM me when you can. Subscribed to this thread!!!

Also can you explain the difference between dark graphite and gunmetal finishes?
