Pype Bomb Exhaust for V8 installed on V6 Camaro! Insane! best $266.00 I ever spent - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After jumping around from site to site trying to find the perfect exhaust for Silva, I ordered the Pype bomb system from Pypes! I wanted something throaty to really bring out the sound of the car. Really the six has balls but it does not resonate in the sound of the engine. Well holy crap this system is insane! I have had several SS Camaro owners ask me if I was posing as an imposter with the RS badging so my car would appear as a sleeper. Really I couldnt be more happy.. Price was not an issue I can afford any system out there. What drew me to the PYPE bomb was the Resonators. Those 4.5 inch Resnators coming out the back make the Camaro look like a wild beast. Because the back of the car is rather husky those tips fit the appearance of the car. The installer had to add an extra piece of pipe but it only took an hour to fit this exhaust to the V6. It sounds killer in every gear. It doesnt sound like a beefed up six. it sounds like a killer V8 and you all know the car is already pretty fast. I have the Injen short Ram intake which further projects the note of the exhaust. Word of caution ! If your looking for something subtle this is not for you , this thing kicks @$$ in every gear

Thanks! Its at the dealer until Wednesday but when I get it back Ill do a Video of the sound. Its pretty awesome. Im surprised for this price I haven't seen anyone with this set up on the V6

Yeah for that price it's hard to beat too. I cut my mufflers off but now I'm looking for something to slightly reduce the drone.

Actually headers was my next performance mod. Now I don't know. Im feeling like that's really gonna open things up. We will see, I don't think I can resist!

My car is at the dealer till Wednesday but I will post a vid as soon as I pick her up! Real bummer because I got the exhaust done on Thursday and noticed fluid leaking from the rear. I took it straight to the dealer and they said to bring it in on Friday. The one day I had it I got about 20 comments about the exhaust from people on the street including a couple of SS owners at the dealership. I can't wait to get it back. I ordered my dash kit for the radio last night and the short throw shifter.

Looking forward to a video....capture the sound from about 10 to 15 feet back. Hate it when they stick the video recorder right next to the pipes or directly below. If the video turns out well I'll add it to the exhaust sticky thread.
