The reason you see the hump like that for Ford is they get their 13s out the door and deal on them a little faster than GM does. 13 Mustangs already offering financing incentives where GM generally does spot promotions during the same period. Sort of a circle of Marketing like give you 500 bucks vs .9% financing - GM does bad on getting promotions off the stickers and to the consumer. I bought a Silverado yesterday before the over 9K in total incentives went offline for it with all the packaged incentives being offered and not being advertised - cruise the lots you will see. I got a 13 for way less than I could pick up a 12 which is stupid for any manufacturer.

I didn't know Mustangs and Camaros were that neck and neck, I thought the Camaro had a pretty far lead on sales.
The Challenger sales arn't surprising though, given a standard V8 can cost around $40k... Quote:

The Challenger was meant to be lower volume, it's not really an apples to apples comparison.
