GM has decided for the time being not to sell the 2010 Chevy Camaro in Europe. However, lamenting european Camaro fans should not despair because there's no a way to purchase a Camaro (as long as one has enough euros

). Geiger Cars, a german auto firm with a tuning division, has recently announced the import of some Camaros to the european market. A search of their official site reveals 3 Camaros for sale currently:

-- a rally yellow Camaro 2LT for 39,900 euros (approximately $56,600 USD).
-- a black SS and a red SS, each for 50,615 euros (approximately $71,800 USD).

Seeing these prices makes us feel lucky that we pay the prices that we do in north america!

Yeah, it´s so hard to see the prices you have and the prices we get if we want to drive the same car. I also want a camaro, but really not for like 50000 Euros... Time will tell if the prices go down, there will be an order from me...

Any US soldier outthere coming to Germany and buying a Camaro for me?

Not that Gm would charge that much but it was a bad decision not selling them in Europe.

Gotta love paying that much for a car and having the company's logo plastered onto the paint in at least 3 different areas (seriously -- are two on the rear really that necessary?) of the car... :?

found a top-serious dealer here in switzerland..

TODAY (on my birthday

) i signed the contract for my dream of dreams

FID 101188 / black SS 2SS with ground-effects..

the beast cost me here in switzerland 57K US-D (road ready)... lot of money but not toooo bad..

can pick up the beast in july and will be more than happy!

How do they manage to get 3 cars to sell over there when so many of us can't even get our one pre-order yet and GM as claiming to not be marketing them in Europe yet? There are lots of ways we could guess at but I'm curious if someone actually knows.
