Disappointed

Went to town today and spent $65 on some new headlight bulbs, I told them I want a blue tint I go home pop open the hood install them and they are as yellow as halogens

I call them up and ask if I can return them they ask why? I replied you lied to me saying these were gonna be blue and they are white.

Only positive to this is I get to drive me camaro back to town tomorrow

If you're looking for that blue look, you could also consider going to a xenon kit. I'm guessing you don't have the HIDs.

I bought some 8000k HID replacement bulbs online and they're a good bit more blue than the stock ones. Not too blue, though. So I think they look really good.

You could get a set of silver stars. Though....people with those infuriate me to no end lol

That's the only way you're going to get a bluish tint without dropping the money for a hid kit.

yeah because we need more people on the road with HID bulbs in Halogen housings blinding on coming drivers.

OP if you are going to do HID, please do it right and do a proper HID projector retro fit.

Otherwise as stated Silverstars are good, very white, and you can get them at pepboys

Feel free to be less hostile in future posts. It is legal and ordinary for car enthusiasts to use upgraded bulbs to increase visibility, and therefore safety, at night.

Thanks for saying that. People using hid bulbs in reflector housings have no clue how much that blinds oncoming traffic. I have the LS and would definitely get the projectors if I went hid.

I couldn't agree more. There's nothing worse than a truck doing it though, I literally had to pull over once because I couldn't see a thing. I am saving up for a set of OEM Halo's though. HID's are just beautiful if done right.

I bought Nokya 8000K for mine & love the look. Nice bright white light with a slight blue tint head on. Quality bulbs too...

Stock HIDs. I have the RS package. I was surprised at how blue they are for being the originals.
