MilSpec Camaro
I was snooping around a particular vendor's website and realized that they do military and government vehicles. This got my brain working.
Let's say I want to build a Camaro SS to military specifications. What would it take? Discuss.

Will the camaro have the potential of taking fire?
I'd build something like this personally ![]() Though this might be more practical...

You are talking about uparmored and such? You think the car weighs a ton now lol. They have uparmorded SUVs and other sedans at the Embassy over here. It's pretty cool, didn't know they were bullet proof until you open the door and it takes both arms.

It's heavy enough to withstand alot. Also ever see that video of the LEO's trying to bust the driver window out on that kid running in like NM? Darn near bulletproof lol

if it was built for the military = $10,000,000 + cost to us.
That's for the base model.................... |

I'd rather have this than a Camaro.
Here's one for you.

We do Military and Armed builds and have done Escalades and other vehicles, but never a Camaro. It could be done, but I have no clue what to even guess as far as cost.
Here are a few different builds. ![]() I drove one of these through the neighborhood to get one from building to another and got some interesting looks ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Escalade below, in addition to all of the armor, had a Magnacharger supercharger, smoke kit, and dropped huge nail balls with the flip of a switch. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -Rick |

Let's try this a different way. I don't think everyone's on the same page. What qualities would a MilSpec Camaro have? How would it handle? How much power should it have? Where would it have secret compartments? How would you do it?
Something tells me that it would have so much armor that we'd be upgrading to a Duramax for all the torque. ![]() You probably couldn't push this one as far.
