NEED HELP/ADVICE PLZ
I just recently put in my order for a new cam (night fury) and the l99 to ls3 conversion kit. What i am noticing bout the kit is that it doesn't have the hollow stem valves of the ls3, should i be worried? Also i have milled and ported/polished heads (milled to 20 thousandths)if i do need the valves where can i buy them and which one are the best? I dont want to have problems with valve float.

You can swap them out, it would be beneficial. Do you have Valve springs? If so look into Brian Tooley's platinum springs. They have a "0" failure record on them.
Didn't forget that you being an L99 you have -2cc valve reliefs but ALWAYS measure regardless. Good luck bud.

Awesome!
If you can swing the valves money wise, I'd go for it since they gotta come off bud. BTR SLR lifters are also badazz! IMHO.

Not a problem bud, you can shop around but I'm sure places like TEA, SDPC, WCCH, LPE or AI will have them. GET the part number and google too bud. Iirc they are around 2?.00 Bux? Each

Lpe sells them i think they are gm manley also makes a hollow valve for the ls3 but unless youre spinning past 7000 rpmd there is no benefit but if you got the cash i would do it a lighter valvetrain is always better if your lift is higher than 625 i wouldnt use stock rockers i would go with a shaft setup

I don't think he needs a shaft setup with his combo BUT a lighter valvetrain is always good IMHO. I mean hes doing the Ls3 conversion lol might as well finish it a reek the benefits.

Lol yea i just saw the ls7 valves and they are definitely pricey 90 bucks each and thats the best price i found 12591644 that's the pt# for intake valves and 12618110 exhaust valves. The exhaust valves were only 30.xx though. My cam is 617/624 do i still need the shaft lifters?

I am doing the same project on my Camaro. I went with the BTR .660 springs and the BTR Slow leak down lifters. I have compared the LS3 valves and the Ferrea, the LS3 valves are lighter.
