Finally drove one!

With my ZL1 in QC for a few weeks, my buddy took his out today and let me drive it around town! Victory red convertible, manual. Drove for about forty minutes. He only has 850 miles on so it was a calm drive but wow what a car! Now I’m dying to get mine and get through the 1500 mile break in!I was thinking about driving to DC and back to just get it all out of the way at once!

Good for you!. Nice pal you have there letting you drive his ride. There are many faces that The Beast can wear. Docile and well mannered, to outlaw and just plain rotten... be careful which face you choose to wear...... Enjoy your new purchase when you take delivery.

Yeah I am hoping to get it out 1st of april. Full tank of gas ready to go as long as the weather and streets are good. It was pretty cold today can't imagine the tires had any grip. I drove mine when it was 40 and you had to be easy on the throttle.

...tires will be good at any temp, just don't push them. Performance is out the window until warmer ambient temps and internal tire temp at are above 40 degrees<much better than that to push it mind you>. Otherwise, drive it, use common sense, and don't try to push it like it like a balmy summer day.
