ZL1 Goodyear F1 Supercar Tire Splitting
Found some separation at 2700 miles on my 2012 ZL1. My GM dealer has ordered a replacement. Thought I would share.

Pictures are of the same tire. Just 1 split found. Yeah, I think they look worn for just 2700 miles also. Bought it used with 1300 miles and it was basically a garage queen. So
.

It looks more like a cut rather than a separation

Temperatures in my area have ranged from 28 to 40 degrees during the last few cold weather months. I bought the car used, so the original owner had the car through mid February. Unsure how much he has taken it out on really cold days. Probably not, car was a garage queen.
I have owned it since. Unfortunately, the car is parked outside while my house is under construction and have no garage at the moment. I have only driven the car above 35 degrees and has been parked during some 28 deg. days, as I have been aware of the problem and monitor the tires closely. The dealer had no problem covering it, since there is a bulletin out. It may be just a cut, but who can say 100% for sure? Better to action than risk it.
