2010 Camaro Billet Aluminum Fuel Door - Installed!

Heat Metal Corp releases our custom billet fuel door for the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. This design brings a performance inspired nostalgic look to the Chevy Camaro by getting rid of that plain old painted door.

Heat Metal styled the 2010 Chevy Camaro Fuel Door with a 3D flare that no one offers. Even the Chrome Blast Fuel Door has a finish that many will try to imitate but never duplicate. The center halves have been textured to provide a contrast from the smooth chrome finish.

Heat Metal’s exotic finishes jive with options that you will have for OE factory chrome, black aluminum, midnight silver and aftermarket wheels.

Our Chevy Camaro Fuel Door is machined from aircraft grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum and finished in either Chrome Blast, Gun Metal, Stealth Anodized and Black Chrome. Custom ultra rare and exotic finishes are available upon request and require a two week lead time. If you have your heart set on a certain wheel consider having Heat Metal match your wheels and other styling accessories with our unique electroplated finishes.

Here are a few pictures of the new Heat Metal Camaro Fuel Door in Chrome Blast and Gun Metal Brush.

No offense...but those pics are horrible. I would need to see each one on a Camaro before I could decide.

It would be nice to see all the colors modeled on the car. Also nice to know if it still is released from inside the car or is locking as others have pointed out.

This is much better than that nasty one from Chevy. The color choices are good, but you do need better pix. Maybe even a few designs to choose from. I'm getting the SS/RS pack, so I'm guessing the Black Chrome would match the wheels? Maybe a chart would help for stunods like me.

$140??!! GTFOutta here... for that?? that's a $50-retail part at best...

I know... my best friend is a mechanical engineer and machines stuff like that all day long via CNC machines... cost per piece for the amount/quantity you get out of a block/slab of aluminum is next to nothing...

and the GM/Chevy one looks better than that one anyway...

I'm sure somebody worked hard on that but it looks terrible. Chevrolet should have stuck with the concept on this one. However, if someome would make a replica of the concept version and scale it to fit in the current location I would buy one.

Heavy Metal,

Your work looks good. Nice touch for a great car. Please dont mind some of the immaturity on the forum.

Do you have a model that locks? Something that will keep the thieves from stealing it?

$140 is not bad, I've seen ones for my 2003 GMC higher than that, I've seen some less to but they are overlays, not a replacement.

I like the chrome blast is it? I'd like to have one with chrome and polished aluminum to match the polished aluminum wheels and chrome trip on the car, too I may get some deep dish chrome wheels for summer driving and it would be interchangeable then.

That chrome blast is tight. Love to see that in a two-tone flat black on the blast and a smooth black on the smooth section. Really cool. Now, how does it open? Latch? push - pull? internal locking?
