5 spoke wheels matte or gloss black?
I am having my OEM 5 spoke wheels powdercoated either matte/satin or gloss black, which do you think will look better on a 2013 yellow ZL1 with carbon fiber hood insert?

I prefer Gloss black wheels. When they are matte they blend in with the tires too much and almost looked plati dipped

I am about to powder coat mine too, and have debated this question for days. I know the black Factory GM center cap inserts are not gloss black, they are more satin or semigloss in finish. I love a beautiful Gloss Black Wheel but they are prone to micro scratches over time. Matte finish will let brake dust stick to it more and be harder to clean it off. I think i will be going to a semigloss or satin finish to come out with the most "Pros" and less "Cons" Here is a link to see/purchase the center caps at a good price off Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231006602823...S:1123&vxp=mtr

I am doing the same. I've been told the gloss scratch easy, and show break dust more. I'm going matte/satin.

I voted gloss. I don't understand how a more porous matte finish can attract less brake dust than gloss. my stock black wheels I wish were gloss as the break dust embeds itself in the texture and is nearly impossible to clean off in some areas.
