Works now. Love it! What a mean machine. It does tell me however that if they want it to be in the same conversation with GTRs that the price will be in that same conversation. If I'm wrong it will be the performance buy of the century.

Poor Ford. If only they would put the S/C 5.8L in a real chassis. The Boss just isn't equipped to compete.

They did. It was the GT40.
I guess its time to bring it back from the hashes if Ford wants to compete at the tier 2 level now.

Z/28 vs ZL1 vs BOSS 302 LS vs GT500 diagram at MRC

I saw this picture showing entry and exit speeds at different points on MRC. Thought it was pretty interesting.

I was hoping for more of a comparison like how Motor Trend has Randy Pobst drive both cars and compare the times. I'm sure we will get that sooner or later.

Thanks that is an awesome find! The Camaro's are amazing! The 1LE seems to take corners better than the ZL1, but can't match it as the road straightens out. Very impressive.

I see they used a 2012 ZL1 for testing...Doesn't the 2014 ZL1 have magnetic ride control? Wonder how it would fair in this little competition!

Don't all ZL1s have the magnetic ride control?

Maybe it does, I thought they updated it in 2014 or something...Maybe I just thought that because of that damn video that came out in May where GM was highlighting it.

The ZL1 has always had the magnetic shock system.
