The new trunks are shaped differently.

You can see it in this guys pics of his 1LE check the bump or rise around the 3rd Brake light in the deck.

There's a really good pic here of the Z/28 on a lift from below and rear that lets you see the hump in the deck.

Its a lot more of a arrow dynamic spoiler, with more rear down force, we like it, made one that does the same thing on older cars this is that spoiler.

Yours is nice, but lays more flat then the one we made, and if you look it has a revers Mohawk like the roof of the car, that does 2 things, it keeps the line of the car and lets you see the 3rd brake light.
