Tire Rack/Hot Rod Tire Comparison

Video, skip to 9:30 for the results

Dry conditions, Auto-x'd on a pro touring car.

Here is the short list for the results, for more info watch the video:
1) Dunlop Direzza ZII - 56.43
2) Hankook Ventus RS3 z222 - 56.9
3) BFGoodridge G-Force Rival - 57.1
4) Falken Azenis RTt615k - 57.36
5) Michelin Pilot Super Sport - 57.79
6) Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 - 57.98
7) Nitto NT05 - 59.37

-----

What do you guys think of the results? Personally I was super surprised the NT05 got smoked so badly, and also that the PSS was in the back of the pack, I thought I had seen quite a few people running NT05s on here, NT05R's as well, and I had seen in road and track's monsters of grip comparison the Michelin PSS was .4 seconds faster per lap than the standard Hankook RS3 and flat out won the comparison including wet times. Only being slower than a Yokohama. So, opinions on the test and results?

Doesn't shock me at all. I have had or had close friends that had a lot of those tires. Nt05 effectiveness goes away quickly as you add hp too.

What I want to know is, where are the stock pirelli's on that list. I suspect they'd be way out at the bottom.

I have the Dunlop's on my MINI Cooper S and they are a great tire. Too bad they don't make them in the larger sizes.

Ya Pirelli's are pretty bad, PZeros especially are awful, overpriced, loud, no grip.

Funny enough after I saw this comparison I looked up the price of getting these for my Mini too... haha.
