I'm sure it wasn't the base 85 Tesla. The performance model is $90K…so, yeah I believe it. 416HP, 0-60 in 4.2…ZL1 would get it in the long haul I think though. I watched a few videos of those, man they're nice. Thinking about getting rid of the wife's Panamera for one.

Yeah, it's a shame that guy wrecked (hit something) his car, it caught fire, and everyone thinks the electric car is unsafe. Tesla's engineering is world class. Too bad they've taken a huge hit because of this (if increasing 400% stock, and losing 6.2% after is huge). Still a nice car though. I had a BMW 7-series that had electrical problems and caught fire. I didn't run to the media and blame BMW. Just got it replaced. Just like that guy got another Tesla. The Tesla fire was contained to the battery compartment, as designed.

Yeah, it's a driver's race. ZL1 0-60 3.8, 1/4 12.1…good matchup!

In all seriousness, there were at least 3 Teslas going up in flames in the last month or so. The latest one ran over a trailer hitch that must have compromised the battery compartment.
Tesla needs to figure this out pretty quickly.

Was wondering why it comes with graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows in the glovebox......
