I think had Ford not shut down the Mustang line back in the summer, the year total sales for the Camaro and Mustang would be closer, Supply had dwindled down on the Mustang for a while at least aroud here.

Im going to wait a few months and let the remaining 13 stock sell before i judge if the refresh was a failure. still have a fair number of 13's around here, they seem to be going quickly though. I think the local Chevy dealership has only moved one 14 so far though.

The Mustang has been strong the last part of the year, concidering a lot of people are waiting to see what the new Mustang is like, but it can be said that Mustang sales have gone up by the people wanting this modle and not the new.

Challener has really dropped in sales. It was doing really well compaired to its numbers from last year.

The only line I watch is trends. I'd like to see the category up across the board, and while Mustang is holding steady, it was only the Challenger that trended up, but even that is starting to flatline. How can we get more folks to buy our favourite class of cars?

sure looks like to me that the Camaro refresh is not doing so well...with the new mustang right around the corner that the mustang sales should be down and not the Camaro's...2 months in a row they are down and coincidentally it has been 2 months since the refresh

Yes the rarity of the challenger and its improved room offer a better ride for many as these models are due to come to a end...... So I think many bought challenger because its pretty much the same from start to finish, the Camaro redesign is just so-so, and the stang is going away to its next gen and that's all folks. I know people like comfort and such and resale value for challengers may climb some long ahead day if these cars ever appreciate just like they did for the old dodges which were far less numerous than the Camaro and mustang as they were heavy big cars........

Sales are up from a year ago. Definite sign that the refresh has had an impact. '13 sales are no longer an influence. These are direct sales of '14 MY.

How do the 13's no longer influence this? there are still plenty of them on lots and being sold.

I don't think people are reading things. The Camaro had a year over year increase of 14%. That's a good thing. Mustangs was only 1%. So most likely this is typically a slow month for the Camaro and it did far better than last year and even better still than the year prior.

Nothing to worry about.

THANK YOU..

Apparently people only look at graphs and see the Mustang selling more units than the Camaro and instantly it's applied to their short-sighted bias against the 2014 Camaro.

Come on people - let's put on our critical thinking caps. If the Camaro sold 14% more units (or about 709 Camaros) November 2013 than November 2012, how is the 2014 refresh a fail? They sold 709 more Camaros this past November than they did November 2012. Of course we don't have a break down of how many were 2013s vs 2014s so we can't conclusively say that the refresh is a success but it CERTAINLY isn't a failure.

PS - The Camaro sales in October 2013 were up 11% compared to October 2012... Again, not down compared to year after year sales.

I work at a chevy dealership,we have one 14' and about 5 13's...we have had the 14' for about two weeks now and the 13's for about a month, but I have read on here in several places that some folks were going ahead and buying the 13' due to not liking the 14 at present time,i have to say that at first I did not care for the 14' refresh, but it will grow on folks and they will start selling,i just have heard several people say they do not like the refresh,

but my point was that there are plenty of 13's still on dealer lots to be sold,so im guessing the majority of these sales figures are for the 13's

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the numbers that are shown from month to month are what Oshawa's numbers that are delivered to customers. But the right person to ask would be Enator.

My dealer said the same thing, 13's aren't selling as the 10-13's were. I have only seen a couple 14's on the road as of yet, so time will tell. When the leftovers are gone we will see the numbers then.

I think after Dec. 5th, we'll start seeing a slight uptick in volume for Camaros.

Yes turn this into another 13 vs 14 thread, who cares? Is it hard to believe there will be leftover when a manufacturer is popping out a new model with different tweets every year? shocker!

Camaro sales are up 14%, must be a decline due to the fact that I hate the 2014 Camaro......

Well the 2015 mustang doesn't look that good, and looks like ford took some of the styling cues from the Camaro, like the 1/4 pnl.area and the roof,

Hard to tell, my dealer still had 15 13 model year Camaros and only 4 14 model years two weeks ago. I will go back and see how many 13's he still has.
I just checked their inventory and now they have 14 13 models and 9 14 models. Looks like they only sold 1 13 in the last two weeks. I can't tell how many 14's they sold since those are always coming in now.

It looks like a cross between a Fusion and a Altima.

Hold on... so from what I understand, there is a difference between "deliveries" and "sales"? The deliveries graphs show Mustang ahead month over month, but the first sales chart shows on average Camaro ahead of Mustang. What's the difference? Are deliveries the number of cars going to dealers while sales = customers?
