Very few people from the outside world have had the opportunity to see the inside of a very secretive place in Southeastern Michigan—the GM Proving Ground in Milford, Michigan.

Attached is a 10+ minute video that gives a brief history of the MPG as well as a quick look at various facilities and road courses that are used 24/7/365. Talking with outsiders that have had the privilege of seeing the Proving Ground – you’ll find that they’re amazed at the beauty of the landscape – the lakes and trees and wide-open spaces…also the elevation changes. It truly is a magical place.

Ask any GM employee and they’ll tell you that one never gets tired of the MPG – always something interesting to see or experience……

I remember this from the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2012! Those roads were lots of fun, awesome facility.

I was there too, although I was in my Corvette.
Friend of mine took this video as he followed me on our way out of the facility.

Wow,looking at some of the facebook postings of people that worked there,they seem to have had a lot of fun,i would love to work at a place like that for G.M., I have been here at the same dealership for 32 years,seen one of the fb post's where a guy put 37 years in at the grounds,im sure he has a nice retirement from there,unlike what I will end up with from here,lol

Awesome! Buddy of mine at the railroad was a Corvette Teach at the MPG for a few years before he came here. He has some pretty neat stories.
