Talking Fastlane's ZL1 Single Turbo Camaro SS on the dyno

As featured on homepage.




Shot this video a couple of hours ago: it's Fastlane's Stage 4 ZL1 Single Turbo Kit on a 2010 Camaro SS... They are still tuning it and it's only running 7lbs boost but it's already putting down 520 RWHP and 509 RWTQ...

You didn't put this on stock short-block, did you?

Stock LSx + FI + time = piston pieces

For V8, Too much lag for a single big turbo. Better use two smaller GT3076R for fast spool and low end TQ.

I don't know how much experience you have with f.I. LS motors, but I put 70k mi. On my stock LQ9 with a supercharger and two different turbo setups.

I wouldn't say a turbo is lowly, but I agree that ZL1 is sacred territory an aftermarket manufacturer certainly should avoid. Sounds mean though.
