J.D.Power, reliable 3-year- old cars: Camaro!

The list is great: GM has a number of brands ABOVE industry average (lower number of reported issues), and ZERO brands below it, while all while Mopars fall below average. The blue oval is below, but Lincoln is above it...

For the "Sporty mid-sized car" category, only one vehicle even qualified for the list (and wins by default, I suppose!): Chevrolet Camaro.

Take a bow.

I don't understand. The scores say "per 100 vehicles" so how can you have a score higher than that? You can't have 132 vehicles affected per 100 vehicles?

This is measured in pphu....problems per hundred units. One car can have 2 or 3 problems..thats how it gets above 100.

Take a bow.
I wouldn't say the Camaro won by default. The other vehicles were so much more problem-prone, they couldn't make the list. I really wish JDP would at least say which vehicles were candidates in this category. Either way, Camaro FTW!

The Camaro is such a great aggregate value of aesthetics, engineering, quality and performance.

My 2007 Pontiac was reliable from new to 55K miles when I traded it in, my 2012 Camaro is reliable through 26K miles.

My Pontiac had a squeaky door latch, and one of the radio buttons was intermittent. That was the extent of problems with the vehicle. Loved that little thing.

My Camaro had a poor alignment when new. That's the only issue, and it's not the car's fault it wasn't aligned correctly. I can't count the lousy paint, as this is SOP for new cars.

I have to admit..my camaro is, in my opinion.....the best car ever to combine muscle car looks and performance with modern lines and technology. I still stare at it when I pass by it in the garage.

Ls engines have always been on there game!! I bought my car for the ls3. Went with the camaro because, I could get a 2011 camaro 2ss for 6 grand less than an 08 corvette!! Couldn't be happier I got the engine I wanted in a newer vehicle with a cheaper payment. I was also able to start modding right away. With the corvette it would have been stock for a good while which is a shame because the ls3 has fury to be heard.
