Spoiler drill holes question
I'm going to be drilling holes in my 2014 1LT trunk that didn't have a spoiler. Do I need to do anything special after drilling the hole besides just having a gasket? Do I need to put some type of paint or coating around the drill hole? What should I use if so?

Touch up paint on the holes drilled and I used Silicone before putting the plugs back in the trunk deck to seal the screws and to keep them from loosening. Been on for a year no problems.

Does it have to be any special paint? Can I get just random clear paint or something from hardware store? Dang, I guess that means I have to wait for paint to dry, I'm going over to a friend's to do this along with muffler etc... I guess I could always add the paint and silicone later too...
