Front Bumper Fascia alignment to hood...

Ok so I installed new headlights and of course had to take off the bumper to do so. After installation I realized the hood looks too low in the front only, it lines up with the side bumpers perfectly. The four rubber adjustments for the hood are of no help, but I see multiple times in the forum that there are adjustment screws for the bumper in the front.
One thread says they are the torx screws, another says they are the hex... From looking through the grill it appears that the hex screws are the adjustments because there are metal tabs under the screws that look like adjustments but perhaps all four are adjustments?
Who has adjusted the bumper successfully before using those screws? I have tightened and loosened them but either way it looks the same... Maybe I have to take off the bumper so it is loose and adjust it before putting all the other bolts on?

Please help it's driving me nuts... I'll upload pictures in a while.

there are two TORX bolts at the front of the fascia, they are shims to align the fascia to the hood.

you are not supposed to torque them down..

hang tight a minute and I will get a picture of them..

The second picture I just posted shows the four screws I mentioned, the ones closer to the engine are torx. But looking through the grill there are adjustment tabs that have screws that are moved by the regular hex screws...

I went out and put them back where they go, but the threads are the same and the bolts are the same size. I loosened the torx bolts after putting them in the correct place and it's a lot better but not completely flush... and I feel like the torx bolts are so loose just to keep it as it is. I can pretty much turn them by hand which I would say is too loose.

yes loose enough I can adjust by hand and yes my bumper has been off several times, for vinyl install, replacing of bad OEM headlight (halo went out) grille install.. etc.

it was the dealer that pointed out the shims to me when they replaced the headlight.

I guess I'll just keep them that loose and add a nut or some washers so it wont be loosening itself while I'm driving. Thanks for the help that hood was ruining my mood every time I saw it.
That and the factory wing has some plastic sticking out I can't get rid of without taking off the wing.

It's just weird that when I took the bumper off it was definitely NOT loose and it was flush...

don't know what else to suggest except, loosen everything up, get it aligned, then tighten it down..

I completely took out the torx screws and it is lined up 100% perfectly.
I'm leaving them out for now... It doesnt feel like the fascia is loose so it looks like this was the easy answer.

yeah those torx bolts have nothing to do with securing the fascia, they are only alignment shims.
