Glove box rattle..?
I have finally traced down this faint rattling noise I have been experiencing... It is coming from the glove box.
On the way home I opened the glove box while hearing the noise and its gone. Opening the glove box makes it stop... anyone know what is doing this? (there is nothing in the glove box). |

I am pretty sure that closing your glove box is causing the rattle.

Have you tried to put some weight in it, such as the owner's manual? To see if the rattle goes away.
I've notice on my car if the passenger seat is too upright it will rattle a little. Luckily I drive with my seat leaning back so I leave the passenger seat in the exact same position when empty. |

I have the same thing, very annoying. Happens every morning on the way to work on the same road. I appreciate the response from customer service, but there's no way the dealer will be able to 'reproduce' this. Its a high frequency vibration and I think its inside the latch.

It seems to be the glove box door. For some reason it doesn't close securely. I have to close my box door with applying slight pressure at both corners. If you don't close it carefully the door will still latch, but one corner will hang loose, which causes it to rattle. This is a funny issue, especially for a new car.

I have same issue. Comes and goes and cannot find a rhyme or reason. Will check closing it making sure both corners are closed flush.
