Holley Mid Rise Intake

Has anybody tried or heard of Holley mid rise intake having fitment issues under stock hood. The mid rise has an 1500-6500 rpm band do you think that's a step up over fast and ported stock intake.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1409439183.432259.jpg

I will have to check this out, especially because there's a cam change on the horizon.

Holly hasn't released it yet. I was on the phone the other day with them and they said it hasn't been released yet. I fell in love with the idea of running one after I saw one on a 5.3.

I'm thinking this intake, milled/cleaned up heads, and a nice vvt cam will put me at the 500 rwhp in my l99.

Oh and it's going to be price wise not much more than some are selling ported stockers, and that's with billet fuel rails.

It will heat soak badly and has a short runner. You'll lose power down low.

That's the same thing Martin Smallwood @ TickPerformance told me about this intake.

Runner length is way too short for a street car. Would be a nice intake for a boosted setup though.

Does anyone know if this'll fit under the stock hood? More specifically, the 14+ models.
