Detail on my Ol' Lady: '02 Camaro SS
I'm just getting around to posting the results of my yearly detail on my first Camaro, that I completed not that long ago. This detail basically involved removing last year's wax and applying new wax. There was no paint correction involved, as I feel that the car's paint is at a point where just annual detailing maintenance is enough.
Here are the particulars: 2002 Camaro SS Sunset Orange Metallic Clay: Griot's Detailing Clay Wash: Mother's California Gold wash Polish: Sonus Paintwork Cleanser (2 rounds) Machine/Pads: Porter Cable 7424; Lake Country backing plate, 5" Green and 5" black. Clean-up/light seal and conditioner: Sonus Acrylic Spritz, Sonus Acrylic Glanz Wax (lsp): Zymol EG Vintage Wheels: Blue Magic Polish Just a few pics:    After the polish stage, right at clean-up:    Finally...one pass with Vintage:    Wrapping it up: Uggg the rotors...I got to those later

Looks fantastic... still love the 4th gens. The styling has held up fairly well over the years.

Thanks. She can be cranky at times, but yes she has held up fairly well over the years. I still enjoy doing the detail for her (after its over haha) so that's a good sign.
