Update on Miami Camaro thread

We have gotten a lot of positive interest from the post we put up a few days ago so we are going to go ahead and try and get this going. We would like to stress that we would prefer to be more of a muscle car community rather than a designated club. This way everyone can have a say in the activities the group participates in. We have had interest from both Miami and Broward camaro owners and, in order to include everyone, we plan to have get-togethers in both Miami and Hollywood locations. We can alternate to make driving distances fair for everyone.

To get this started myself and 954camaro are going to attend the car cruising show at the Carolina Ale House 8669 Nw 36th Street, Doral next Saturday (November 1st). We would like to invite everyone to come along and join us. Just an informal meeting to discuss ideas on how we can all get involved. The Carolina Ale House is apparently a cool place to hang out.

I was thinking of getting there around 8-8:30pm (may have to be earlier, so we can be together) 954camaro is in the process of putting up a group Facebook page — I’ll let you know as soon as it is up and running — which will give some more information on what we are trying to achieve.

I’ll be driving up from Homestead, so anyone who is in my area is invited to meet up with me and we can cruise up together!

Sounds good, I will definitely be attending. I went for the first time last weekend and showed up a little late and was not able to park by any other Camaros. If we want to park together in a group I'd think we'll have to arrive around the same time because the lot got filled quickly. Again first time I've went, just my 2 cents

Thanks for the info, good idea. Once we have an idea on numbers and a good time for all maybe we can get some space allocated for us

I can get there earlier if needed and, try to secure some space so we can all hang together, let's c ihow many r going to come, should have a better idea in a few days. Thanks for the advice
