We should have a racing wheel/tires sticky
Hi mods,
We should have a racing tires sticky (Drag racing) There is so much information scattered around different threads on the different types of drag radials, slicks, drag racing wheels options, sizes, offsets and backspacing etc. I'll put something together and will post in this thread and you guys can decide if you'd like to sticky it. Cheers, Chris |

Agreed... Op put something together and it let us look at it... I'm sure something can be done along those lines...

I completely agree.
Would love some direction as to where to find some vette wheels for a drag setup. C5Z06 or C6Z06 18" wheels 9.5 +40 10.5 +53 And where do you guys buy your tires? Some Mickey Thompson 305/45/18 perhaps.

John, if you don't mind, when people comment with additional information, can you use that to edit your post... That way the first post always has the most complete information... Thanks all... If you don't want to have to deal with it let me know and either I can do it or the op can run with it if he desires... It's stuck...

I'm picking up a set of bogarts with M/H 390/40/17 drag radials today . Hopefully these help out with my traction for spring .
At 641 RWH getting the power to the ground and not just smoking the tires is my biggest problem .
