Has anyone bought these for the 1LE's?

I purchased these this week and im still waiting for the Splitter Guard Washers to arrive but the Splitter protector has arrived and I will install everything once the Washers arrive. I only ordered 6 of the Guard Washers to go into the existing holes in the Splitter Protector.

Seems like a good way to protect the Splitters on the 1LE's.

I have the washer guards on my car, has saved the splitter a couple times.

Worth it, to me anyways.

If you ground out on say a driveway or speed bump, it will grind on the extended washer vs on the splitter itself. I have a steep driveway entrance. I have marked up a couple of the washers, but my splitter is as good as new.

I do not have that big splitter protector. The washers seem to be enough for me, and my car is lowered an inch.

That Splitter Protector looks bigger than it actually is, it's maybe 16 inches long and 4-5 inches deep. I haven't measured it but that would be close in the size of it.

Buying the Washers and Protector may be overkill but better safe than sorry I suppose.

My biggest problem is I dont have any ramps to put my Camaro up on to install the damn things

Not having some race ramps in the garage will make it a little bit in the no fun category. I put mine on when she was on the lift getting the engine worked on.

Well I just bought a set of 56" Race Ramps this morning on Amazon and they will be here by Tuesday so that outta get me the clearance I need to install them plus I will be able to change my own oil again.

I havent did my oil change on my 1LE yet just at 1,000 miles and I just dont trust anyone to mess with it so my new ramps will put a end to that!

I have the Splitter Guard Washers. They are a simple effective mod, love 'em. I am aware of the splitter any time I close in on a parking spot or curb, but they did save me one time, well worth it!
