Another ADM, LS3 to LSA Build
Placed my order with ADM today. I can see some long nights ahead of me to get my car ready before the spring.
I still need to locate an intake, blower and base tune. If anyone has any good leads please PM me. My order: LSA Supercharger Dampner NGK TR7 ADM FPCM 2.5" LSA 2 Piece Pulley 65lb Injectors ADM LSA Install Kit W/O Supercharger My current car setup: 1SS 1LE NPP Kooks Headers w High Flow Cats K&N CAI Goal: 550 to 600 RWHP reliable car. Think I can meet my goal without a CAM? Lots more pics to come... |

I just put down 551rwhp on the pump gas tune and 8 pounds of boost through an auto. I bet you do fine.

Awesome choice. You will be really pleased with the kit. Is there a reason for not doing a cam? An ls9 cam would help you hit your goal and run smooth yet. They are amazingly cheap. Adm uses them all the time in forced induction engines. The dampener is not a needed part. I would save the money and get an ls9 cam instead. With a stock cam and a 2.5 pulley you will make way too much boost. With the ls9 you will make less boost and more power and less heat. If you dont mind some cam thump go with a stage 3 cam. My car drives great and sounds awesome. I would call andy and talk to him on your goals. He is a great guy to talk to and has endless knowledge on what you want. He can give you comparisons of past builds. Hope this helps. Good luck on your build. Your heading in the right direction.

Thinking of doing the same thing. I want to spend less than $5k if that's possible. You can get the blower and lid for $1k or less if you look on ebay and this forum.

Lid comes in the install kit from adm. All you need is the blower itself.

What PSI and HP do these kits max out at? Pump gas.. Not meth or E85 tunes?

You'll want a blower friendly cam. My VVT SS1 is better suited for NA. I'll be replacing mine with a BTR spec stage 1 Supercharger cam...

I'm running the Night Fury Cam with a PD blower and it works great. My tuner was pretty impressed considering it is a true NA cam. Is there more efficient options, yes but if it's in there already I wouldn't go out of my way to replace.
