rear spoiler loose ?
noticed this morning a little piece of 2 way tape hanging out from the side of my spoiler, it looks to me like the bolt is loose just on the driver side, does anyone know how to go in from the trunk ? is it just under those little black caps ?

In the trunk, take a trim tool and remove he black rubber grommets and you'll see the nuts inside. I think they may be 10mm but don't hold me to that. Take a ratchet and tighten them or it up.

I pulled them open this is what I found, no nut on the far left one at all, I bent my magnet down and couldn't find it, no rattle in the trunk so I'm not sure if gm ever put on one. Also I checked the other 3 all of them were really loose. Not sure what causes it

if they were in there you would have heard it rattle when you lifted the lid. Just be glad you figured it out before you sprung a leak.

Bought it used off a guy but it only has 5,000 km. not sure why one would be missing unless gm didn't put one on

There was a TSB for the 2010s that addressed the same issue. The fix was to apply LockTight and torque it back down.

Common problem on the early builds. I would have thought it would have been LONG gone by now. The nut is trapped inside your trunk. Get a replacement if you can't fish it out and use some locktite. Try not to over torque it. The nut needs to be over snug but not much more. You don't want to over stress the spoiler and get cracks later.

When I dropped a screw inside my 2010 trunk lid while installing my aftermarket spoiler I just took 4 magnets and placed them in the trunk where the pop off plastic plugs were and then took the car out and did some hard starts and stops and then a few quick shaking the car back and forth like you see the NASCAR guys do to clean off their tires, went back home and sure enough the screw was stuck to one of the magnets...
