1K to spend

Well I am getting a refund from my 2LTs extended warranty which should be right about 1k as I didn't use any of it.

So I am planning on the following few things. CAI Inc CAI, Tinting, Possibly a Cat back system which I will need to throw some more in since I would have about $550 - 600 left for exhaust. Would that need a tune?

I have a lease, but my BIL works at my dealership's as a service writer. He said I could do whatever I wanted to it, to a point and I shouldn't have anything to worry about. I am planning on buying this at the end of term... unless I get too tempted with a new 2019 Gen at that time. But that is the plan

Looking for a nice sound and decent pickup in HP/TQ.

No, catback does not need a tune. You will not get any hp/tq gains on a catback exhaust. Also the the cai will give you some more hp/tq but nothing that you will notice. Your car will sound better with those 2 mods and it will give you the illusion that you're car has more "power".

I'd go rear gears. You will truly feel the torque impact.

May be a little over a G installed, but BIL should cut you a deal.

I got a good residual price and I plan on buying at the end of the term. And I am planning on putting on what can be swapped back easy enough. Thinking just a CAI and a tint job and possibly a cat back system but that would be last.

Is it an auto or a stick? Either way, I would blow $185 of it on a Vitesse Throttle Controller. It was the best bang for the buck of all my mods. You can do a muffler delete for about $100 and it will sound great. It's much cheaper than a cat back system.
