Thoughts on Vitesse TC for a 2015 1LT RS? Worth?

According to the hundreds of threads about the VTC when you search for them...probably one of the best upgrades for the money.

The VTC essentially overcompensates for the laggy throttle-by-wire setup of the Camaro. It doesn't add any HP, just makes the throttle body open a little wider than stock when stepping on the accelerator. Some owners love them, others think they are a snake-oil trick.

I have a VTC. I think it improves daily drive-ability, especially if you have a manual transmission. Owners who drag and/or track their cars don't get as much as usefulness from them, because they are either already running WOT or need the greater finesse of the stock pedal sensitivity.

I've also heard a lot of owners say they started with a VTC, but eventually added enough bolt-ons to the intake and got a tune, so they no longer felt the VTC was needed.

If you're in a mostly-stock config, I'd suggest pairing a VTC with a cold air intake for starters. For a daily/weekend driver, you can't beat the price, and if you look in the classifieds, you can probably find for 150 or less.

Worth every penny. You will literally giggle. But as noted above, it's impact will dimish with every new mod. But that doesn't mean it becomes worthless. After a good tune, you may just find yourself moving from SP6-7 to SP2-3. I live in the heart of Atlanta, so economy mode is great for stop and go traffic. But you better believe I crank that sucker up when I'm leaving the city.

I finally got the reduced power warning on mine Friday. Probably my fault. I shifted from 6th to 3rd on accident. The car Reved super high and I think the stabili track light came on for a split second. About a mile down the road engine light and reduce power came on. I was on a back road so I really didn't feel much of a power loss. Unplugged it drove it home (no problems) after 5 starts the engine light came on. I still like it even though I don't use it much. I think at the time it was on sp2 or something low. Ill be putting it back on this weekend as its not a dd. I knew it might happen and now you know it might happen. Dosent bother me that it happened as I think I caused it. Its still an awesome device and I say go for it.

I love mine, but I only use it when I want to go fast. It always makes me smile.

Try it, if you don't like it you can return it. I love mine and won't part with it.

Has it been determined if those who had problems with their VTC was isolated to a specific batch? Is this product now completely reliable?
Thanks.

All of our feedback has been 100% positive. I don't know of anyone that didn't love the difference. Like was mentioned above, this is something that is going to make the car more fun to drive. It is not going to make your car faster, just seem like it.
